Football is here!
What does it mean when you go to the grocery store and find out the beer, chips, sour cream, and onion dip mix are all on sale? Football season has officially begun! Over the weekend, Kyle and I managed to down a 12-pack, an entire tub of sour cream and onion dip, and a small bag of tortilla chips. Gym anyone? It was a great start to the weekend…Notre Dame won, the Bears won, and football is back on my TV in HD. What else could a girl ask for?
The only issue I see on the horizon would be the constant flip-flip-flip of channels by said husband who has joined a fantasy football league. His need to keep track of all his players and how they are doing overrides the need to watch one football game in its entirety. We've come up with two solutions for this: 1. We watch football in separate rooms every Sunday for the next 17 weeks, OR 2. We buy multiple TVs and build a little ESPN Zone of our own in our living room. I think we all know which option we'd choose, we just have to win the lottery first.
