Here we are on our vacation in Palm Springs last March having dinner at Tommy Bahama's.
Kyle took me hiking in the canyons up to the waterfall. Did you know there are waterfalls in Palm Springs out in the desert? There is a random series of springs that come up out of the ground, with even more random palm trees growing right there, again, in the middle of the desert. I had to live a long time to find a rock that made me feel small....and nope, didn't have to get wet getting to the rock or going back to the trail. I'm now a certified expert rock climber - or rock crawler/shuffler. You're either on your backside or your belly most of the time.
This one is where Kyle proves to me the hike was absolutely worth it. The waterfall at the top of the canyon is amazing, and really weird to see in the middle of the desert. The water is ice cold, and the pond behind Kyle is at least 10 feet deep.
