10 Years Ago, Last Week, and This Weekend

Just a hop, skip, jump, and 10 years ago, I graduated high school. I'll wait while you do the math. Last weekend, we had our 10 year reunion. A good time was had by all. Very strange, weird, different, and yet exactly the same to see everyone again. Kyle was a trooper and joined me at the party, and even met someone he knew who just happened to be married to a girl from my high school.
Click here to see a slideshow on www.youtube.com that fellow committee member Jon put together for the reunion. Thanks Jon!

This week we had Halloween at work. Most everyone at work dresses up in hopes to win the pizza party for your department for best costume. Our little team dressed as The Peanuts Gang. We didn't win, but we also still have a few more studies to ship out this year and actually spent the day trying to work amid the candy chaos that was going on around us.

The best part of the day was when our dear friend Sara came to play with us, and brought her little Dracula William with her. He is absolutely snugglyrific, and loves to give cuddles. He is also "talking", and will tell you all about his day if you have time to sit and listen. As you can see below, he is also interested in the camera I put up in front of his face and wanted to take his own photos of people in costume. That's Ross holding William in that picture below. I think Sara is trying to infiltrate as many groups as she can to get us to join her mommy club.

Halloween night, Kyle and I went to the Laker game home opener. We were spoiled and sat in the luxury box. It made for a long night and very hard to get up and go to work the next day, but was tons of fun.

This coming weekend, Kyle is heading out to play with Joe and see his parents, while I embark on a girl-party extravaganza. Tomorrow I have a baby shower and a 40th birthday party to go to, and on Sunday, a wedding! More pictures to come from those later.
