The Best Dinner in a Long While

Kyle made the bestest dinner we've had in a long while. Who knew fresh french bread dipped in a mix of olive oil, balsamic vinegar and parmesean cheese would be so darn yummy? Add a little cabernet, some ceasar salad and grilled chicken, and you get date night! It was spontaneous date night, because we were dressed in ragedy shorts and tank tops, no shoes, and we didn't even eat at the big kid table. We ate on the comfy couch, in front of the tv, but we had candles going to make up for it. We ate most of the bread dipped in oil standing up in the kitchen. So, no, we didn't really have a sit-down dinner, but I spent a solid 58 minutes eating good food, having actual intimate conversations with my husband during daylight hours while the sun was still in the sky. After that, everything else is just gravy...or oil, depending on if you still have bread left over.
