Rookie Grant Sabie Signs New Contract

After two years of turning out a stellar performance, and what can only be described as the start to a career that possibly lands him in the Hall of Fame, first-round draft pick Grant Sabie has signed an unprecedented 16-year contract with Team Sabie, with an option for 4 more years after that. Exact financial terms of the deal were not released, although it is estimated that Grant will get housing, food, education, and entertainment paid for the next 16 years, with an option for 4 more years after that depending on performance qualifications and education requirements met.

In a historic move, Grant did not hire an agent nor go through arbitration, but instead negotiated his contract on his own with Team Sabie. As part of the contract terms, Grant demanded a PTBNL (Player To Be Named Later) be included in the deal. Team Sabie agreed to all terms.

This player, who will join Team Sabie in early August, is currently growing and expanding their skills in the Sabie farm system, known as The Womb. Not much yet is known about this PTBNL, except that HE is alert, ready to learn, and excited to be part of the team.
Big Brother Grant Sabie was quoted as saying, “I’m excited to have someone to play with besides Toby and Ollie.”

(Smiling + wearing Big Brother shirt + riding train = trifecta)

We will keep you updated on Team Sabie status as it happens (well, within a week or so of when it happens, you know how it is...).

Until then, keep exploring!

Love and hugs,
M, K, G, T, O and PTBNL
