Last Sunday was the always fun, incredibly hyped Cal Lu softball alumni game of alumni vs. the current Regal team. I was excited not to be the oldest one there, thanks to Kecia and Heidi. It was fun and exciting for all. Stepping on that field brought back 4 years worth of memories, not to mention intense concentration, pride, and athletic prowess to try and beat the current team! As a team, the alumni were great. Our defense was awesome. Our pitching was great, especially considering Heidi has been out of college for almost 10 years, and Jen almost 7. Our bats, on the other hand, could have used some work, but that's what you get when you aren't in the batting cage 2 hours a day like we used to.All in all, it was great to see old friends and smiling faces. Here's to next year!
